What do our clients say?

I met Aaron several years ago and through his practical approach towards teaching Finnish he got me going with this difficult but fascinating language. Over the years Aaron has helped me improve my skills and I strongly recommend him to anyone keen to learn the meaning of words such as “Revontulet”. The Northern Lights directly translated mean the Fox’s-Fires. How cool is that?

I met Aaron over 12 months ago through an expat work colleague. Aaron has helped me navigate the complicated but rewarding world of Finnish language learning. His approach and unique supportive style of teaching has helped me develop confidence in extending past the basics. We agree that being taught Finnish by Aaron, who also has an English speaking background, is a specific advantage to our learning needs. Therefore I recommend Aaron to people on the same journey to acquire Finnish.

Why should I consider Finland?

The cost of living in major American cities has escalated to levels that strain the pockets of even well-paid professionals. Safety has become a topic of concern in various regions. People are increasingly wary of their surroundings. The political environment is in a state of flux. Polarizing views, policy uncertainties, and a constant sense of unrest have become daily news staples.

Against this backdrop, whispers emerge of a promising alternative across the Atlantic: Finland.

Finland, known for its tranquil landscapes and societal harmony, faces its own challenges – that you could benefit from. The aging population, reflective of many European nations, places increasing demands on the healthcare system. Coupled with urban migration and a declining birth rate, the country finds itself in need of skilled healthcare professionals to uphold its world-renowned standards of care.

While Finland’s educational system produces top-tier medical professionals, the demand surpasses the supply. To address the gaps and ensure that each citizen continues to receive quality care, Finland opens its doors to international expertise.

For healthcare professional seeking a balance between professional growth and personal well-being, Finland beckons with an opportunity like no other.

Nestled in Northern Europe, Finland’s healthcare model offers a refreshing contrast. Here, bureaucracy takes a backseat compared to States, allowing professionals to immerse themselves to patient care. The system’s efficiency is not just in its streamlined administrative processes but also in its preventive approach, reducing the strain on facilities and ensuring that healthcare providers work in a balanced environment.

But beyond the work dynamics, the Finnish lifestyle beckons. The nation’s emphasis on work-life harmony ensures that long hours don’t overshadow personal growth and leisure. A society built on trust and transparency means reduced anxieties outside the workplace. With free education, robust social security, and a renowned emphasis on individual wellbeing, Finland seems to resonate with the very essence of healthcare: holistic well-being.

Moreover, with a population that embraces English and a rich cultural tapestry that celebrates both innovation and tradition, the transition is smooth. Finland doesn’t just offer a job; it promises personal fulfillment.

As Paul Harvey would say, “From for what it’s worth department—”

Which political system is better….
A one party?
A two party?
Or a multi-party?

I came to Finland over 30 years ago from the USA. Two political parties, the Democrats and the Republicans. Best in the world! North Korea has one.

Finland has nine! Sure, some are small, but their voice is heard. Democracy. Why is Finland the ‘Happiest Country in the World’, almost best education, good social services, etc etc etc?

Is it because no political party has ‘supreme’ power? The left and the center and the blue and the right have to work everything out? Talk things over, not just ‘railroad’ the people.

Just a thought.
